The focus on Math in 1T last week was 2D shapes.  Students completed artwork representing pictures showing 2D shapes and recorded as many things about the 2D shapes and lines as they could.  Students went on to use class feedback to take their art work from good to great.

2015 Book Fair – last day today!!

Mrs Blyth and Mrs Martin have been busily unpacking books in preparation for the Book Fair which runs until Thursday.  The library is open 8am-4pm.  Parents are welcome to come into the library anytime to browse and purchase.  EFTPOS facilities are available.

All students had the opportunity to attend a live performance by Artslink Queensland titled ‘Have you ever Heard a Wombat Sing?”  Two passionate young musicians drew on their Indigenous heritage to combine stories or the environment with a range of musical styles.
