As part of our Geography focus on Africa this term, the Year 4’s were treated to the beautiful harmonies and the soulful drumming of the Salaka Drummers. The children even got to play their own drums which sounded fantastic with over 100 children playing along.

Ever wondered what PMP stands for? The Perceptual Motor Program, which is part of our Prep curriculum offering here at St Anthony’s. PMP combines movement abilities (balance, spatial awareness, temporal awareness and body and directional awareness) with academics (reading, writing, language and math)
In Geography Mrs Webster is teaching us about Africa. We’re perfecting our mapping skills and learning about the Savannas, desert and rainforests of Africa. We are using the atlas, globes and Google Earth.

Last week we welcomed Fr Joseph back to Kedron Catholic Parish. Fr Joseph called in to say hello to many classes last week.
Over the past 12 months it has been wonderful to witness the joy derived from the sharing of Mass. Most Wednesday mornings during the school term, a different class from St Anthony’s attends Mass along with the Parishioners. The students gain much from sharing this special time with the Little Flower Church Parishioners.
